Dave wants our kids and grandkids to stay or come back to Southern Illinois and have good paying jobs that allow them to put food on the table and live a comfortable life. As a small business owner, Dave knows first-hand how government can get in the way of job creation and retention. Dave believes in cutting burdensome regulations and business taxes. Dave sponsored the Blue Collar Jobs Act that incentivizes companies to locate manufacturing businesses in Illinois. Dave also voted to eliminate the Franchise Tax, saving Illinois employers $50 million per year.
